Services & Pricing

Transparent rates, published structures

Most engagements start with a one time sourcing fee that pays for Amora to find and verify the right factory for your brief. From there you can move into a commission on production, add a factory tour day, or take on a retainer if you have multiple programs to run in parallel.

Step one

One time sourcing fee

When a client comes to us with a product brief, we quote a single upfront sourcing fee between USD 300 and USD 500. We only invoice that fee once we have found a factory that matches the brief and presented the verification work behind it. If we cannot find a match, you do not pay.

Service Price
Factory sourcing and verification
A qualified factory match against your product brief, plus the full verification package on that factory.
USD 300 to USD 500, one time

How the sourcing fee works

  1. You send us a product brief, or we build one with you on a short call.
  2. We quote a specific sourcing fee in the USD 300 to 500 range, based on how technical the product is and how deep the verification needs to go.
  3. We run factory outreach and shortlist candidates from our network and from fresh targeted search.
  4. We present the matched factory with a full verification pack: business license check, factory audit notes, capability confirmation against your specification, sample quotation, and any red flags we identified.
  5. You review, ask questions, and approve. The sourcing fee is invoiced at that point, not before.
  6. If you want to move into production, we transition into the commission stage below. If you want to pause, you keep the verification pack and you are free to come back when you are ready.

What the sourcing fee is not

This is not a retainer and not a finder's fee on top of commission. It is a contained fee for the sourcing and verification work itself. If you move into production afterwards, commission on reorders applies as described below. The pilot production order remains commission free.

Step two, optional

Commission on production

Once we have found and verified your factory, you decide whether to take the relationship further with Amora managing production. Our commission model is aligned to commercial outcomes: the first production run is always commission free.

Order type Commission
Pilot production run No commission. This first production batch is fully exempt so you can validate the product, the market, and the supplier without commission overhead.
Subsequent orders at MOQ 5% to 8% of net order value
Subsequent orders above MOQ 3% to 5% of net order value

Two worked examples

Example one: USD 50,000 first reorder at MOQ

Sourcing fee of USD 300 to 500 is paid once the factory has been found and verified. The pilot run is commission exempt. The first reorder at MOQ at USD 50,000 attracts 5% to 8% of net order value, or USD 2,500 to USD 4,000. NRE and tooling paid directly to the factory are excluded.

Example two: USD 500,000 annual volume above MOQ

Sourcing fee of USD 300 to 500 is paid once the factory has been found and verified. The pilot run is commission exempt. Annual production volume above MOQ at USD 500,000 attracts 3% to 5% commission, or USD 15,000 to USD 25,000. At typical operator margins this commission is absorbed inside the landed cost negotiation Amora runs on your behalf.

What the commission covers

What commission does not apply to

Commission is invoiced on the net value of orders placed with any factory we introduce or manage. It does not apply to NRE fees, tooling charges, certification costs, or any amounts paid directly to the factory, which remain separate line items on the proforma invoice.

Optional

Factory tour days

A day on the ground with Amy in Shenzhen. Suitable as a companion to the sourcing fee above, or as a standalone diligence day for buyers who want to see candidate factories before committing.

Tour tier Price
Half day factory tour
Either morning to noon or noon to evening, whichever suits your schedule. We fit in as many factories as the route allows in that half day block.
USD 300 per half day
Full day factory tour
A full day on the ground with Amy. We fit in as many factories as the route allows, with notes and photos from each stop.
USD 500 per full day

What the tour day includes

A note on ground transportation

Ground transportation between factories is billed separately at cost and itemized on your invoice. Local visits within Shenzhen typically run USD 50 to 100 for the day. Visits extending into Dongguan, Huizhou, or further afield will be higher, and we will flag any such cost before the day begins.

Dedicated attention

On any confirmed factory tour day, Amy is dedicated to that client for the full block with no parallel client commitments. This is part of the tour day structure, not an extra.

Optional

Monthly retainer tiers

For clients running multiple programs in parallel, or who want a fixed monthly cost for ongoing project management across several factories. Structured by number of concurrent projects rather than by factory count.

Tier Monthly fee Concurrent projects
Starter From USD 1,000 per month One project. Suitable if you have a single active sourcing line with Amora.
Growth Partner From USD 2,400 per month Up to two projects simultaneously. Suitable if you are adding a second product line, an accessory supply chain, or a parallel device variant.
Enterprise Operations From USD 5,000 per month Up to five projects simultaneously. Suitable if the engagement expands into multi SKU sourcing under one coordinated program.

What every retainer tier includes

What defines one project

A project is defined as one product line sourced from one primary factory, together with reasonable alternates for comparison and benchmarking. Sourcing as many candidate factories as the project requires is included. There is no separate per factory charge inside a project.

Logistics

Shipping, freight, and dropship

We coordinate shipping and logistics for clients who want us to run it end to end, including dropship arrangements where the factory ships direct to your customer or distributor.

Sample consolidation

We receive samples at our Shenzhen office, review, and consolidate shipments to reduce courier cost.

Freight forwarder coordination

We work with vetted freight forwarders and handle bookings, documentation, and shipping mode analysis including CBU versus KD comparisons.

Dropship and direct to customer

Where suitable, we set up factory dropship arrangements so orders ship direct to your end customer or distributor without a warehouse in between.
